These intarsia pendants are assembled based on looks alone. While all crystals hold beneficial properties, the stones in each of these are chosen based on aesthetics opposed to healing needs. Each one is backed with something, usually a marble or micarta, but not lava. The backing stone (or micarta) is for added stability.
The first row of photos (first 3) are strips of complimenting rocks assembled together. The second row are of similar pendants, only they have either silver or copper strips fixed between the stones and are wrapped in silver with a silver bail. Different designs have been etched into the silver backing. The last photo in the row shows an example.
The third row of necklaces show other examples of intarsia pendants and the last row are of different scenes created with rocks.
